NHS treatment is currently divided into 3 treatment bands:

Band 1 course of treatment – {{nhs_band_1}}

Patients are expected to pre-pay their NHS dental charges unless exempted. You do not have to pay if:

• You are under 18 years of age
• You are 18 years of age and in full time education
• You receive Income Support
• You receive Income-related Employment or Support Allowance
• You receive Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
• You receive Pension Credit Guarantee
• You are named on a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate, or you are entitled to an NHS tax credit exemption certificate
• You are named on a valid HC2 certificate

You will be asked to provide written proof that you can claim exemption from payment for your NHS treatment.
