Implants are one way of replacing missing teeth. A titanium fixture is placed into the jaw bone and acts like the root of a natural tooth. Once the implant fixture has integrated to the bone, a crown or bridge is then attached onto this implant. Implants can also be used to support removable dentures in order to significantly improve the stability of the denture.
